The Babyhood Fold N Go is a folding timber cot, not a fabric travel cot. Its Bamboo mattress package lists at $799, checked 7 October 2026, although Babyhood’s public catalogue marked the package out of stock. Confirm the retailer’s supply before relying on it for a visit or nursery setup.
The published fold is 20 × 126 × 95 cm, with the base raised to the upper position. That is slim storage for a piece of furniture, but still a long, tall object to transport. This unscored review assesses the specification only; we have not folded, lifted or loaded the cot.
The short answer
Consider the Fold N Go when you need a timber cot that can be stored between uses, such as at a relative’s home. Measure the storage space around the published folded configuration.
If the main task is frequent car travel or carrying accommodation upstairs, start with our porta cot comparison and Bambino Dormire review. Folding furniture and a travel cot solve different handling problems.

What the package contains
The bundle listing identifies one Fold N Go cot and one Bamboo Breathe Eze Innerspring Mattress measuring 120 × 60 × 10 cm. The standalone cot page states that its padded base still needs a mattress. Do not mistake the base padding for the sleep surface supplied in the package.

The case for it
The fold has a stated dimension rather than a compact adjective. That lets you assess a spare-room wall, storage cupboard or planned transport route before buying. Allow room for the mattress as a separate stored item unless the current manual expressly shows it inside the folded cot.
The timber frame and drop-side arrangement also make it relevant to a room used periodically rather than a suitcase. Ask the retailer to demonstrate the complete setup and locking sequence. The relevant comparison is the routine you will repeat when the cot comes out of storage.
The smaller mattress format is specified directly in the package contents. That helps distinguish this bundle from larger Babyhood cot packages. Our bamboo range guide links the 1200 × 600 mm mattress separately from the larger size.
The case against it
The fold only reduces one dimension substantially. A 126 cm long item does not become hand luggage because it is 20 cm thick. Check the boot opening, internal load space and route through the house before assuming it suits travel.
The published folded size is tied to the base being in its upper position. Ask how the folding procedure works after the base has been lowered for your child. Do not assume the same routine or dimensions in every configuration.
Babyhood makes a comparative claim that its timber design is safer than a porta cot. This review does not adopt that claim. A list of test references is not an independent comparison of every travel-cot alternative or proof about your assembled unit.
Standards evidence
The manufacturer lists household-cot and folding-cot test references, alongside claims concerning the current infant-product standards. Treat these as manufacturer statements and request documentation for the supplied model if needed.
Australia’s current infant sleep product requirements apply from 19 January 2026; an older standard reference alone is not the complete current picture. ACCC’s infant sleep standards page explains the requirements. Our cot standards guide provides the buying context.
How it compares
The Aurora Compact lists at $749 and uses the same nominal mattress dimensions, but addresses a cot that stays assembled. The Fold N Go’s additional purchase reason is storage between uses.
The Dune starts at $699 in a larger-mattress package and is another stationary furniture option. Compare those first if the cot will live permanently in the nursery. A folding mechanism adds little value when you will never fold it.
Verdict
The Fold N Go is a specific furniture solution for periodic use and slim storage. Its published dimensions make that case assessable. It is a less obvious choice for frequent transport, and the current package availability needs resolving before you plan around it.
