Independence
We do not accept payment for coverage, for a score, or for a position in a ranking. No brand sees an assessment before it is published. Criteria and weightings are fixed and published before any product in a category is assessed, which is the mechanism that makes a favourable result impossible to arrange after the fact.

The Babyhood relationship
This site is published by Xpand Digital Pty Ltd. Babyhood, an Australian baby goods brand whose range includes the Kaylula label, is a client of that agency. This is a real conflict of interest and we state it plainly rather than leaving it to be discovered.
How we handle it: Babyhood and Kaylula products are assessed on the same published criteria, by the same method, as every other brand. They are never placed above a product that scores higher. Where they win, the article shows the numbers that earned it. Where they lose, the article says so, including on the products the agency is paid to promote elsewhere.
Specification-based assessment
Nothing on this site has been physically tested. Assessments compare published manufacturer figures and Australian retail prices against the criteria. Articles based on physically tested products will carry a test date and say so explicitly. We will not describe handling, ride or durability we have not experienced.
Accuracy and corrections
Every figure we publish is taken from a manufacturer or retailer listing at the assessment date. Where a figure is not published, we say it is not published rather than estimating. If we get something wrong, we correct the article and update its date.
