What limits it

Before you buy

Check the current model and safety history rather than buying an unidentified used Ridge. Earlier Ridge disc brakes were subject to an Australian product-safety recall involving a specific hazard to a child who was not seated in the pram. A second-hand seller should be able to identify the model and show that any required remedy was completed.
Verdict
The Ridge V2 scores 7.9 because it is excellent at a narrower job. It gives active families running hardware that ordinary reversible prams do not have. If those features will be used weekly, the compromises make sense. If not, a lighter full-size single will be easier every day.
