Its 75 × 65 cm body is far easier to place than the Firenza or Roma.
The hard limit is equally clear: Babyhood publishes a maximum total load of 95 kg including the baby and accessories. That excludes a meaningful share of adults before a nursing pillow or child is added.

Buy the Diva if the combined load sits comfortably below 95 kg, you want glide and foot support without power, and a $1,000 electric recliner is unrealistic. No scored rival matches its feature set at $399.
Skip it if the load limit is close, you need adjustable lumbar or head support, or removable covers matter. The fixed upholstery is spot-cleaned and comfort should be checked in person.

The case for it
Four hundred dollars buys the complete motion set
Budget armchairs often rock or recline, not both, and rarely include a moving ottoman. The Diva glides, swivels, locks into recline and supplies the footrest. It also returns toward upright without requiring a powered motor.
That completeness produces the 9.0 value component. The electric Roma costs three times as much and the Firenza approaches four times the current Diva price.
The chair is comparatively compact
At 75 cm wide and 65 cm deep upright, the Diva occupies less room than the powered chairs. Its lower profile can work in an apartment nursery or bedroom corner where a 100 cm-wide recliner cannot.
Add the 47 × 48 cm ottoman and operating clearance before concluding it is small. Two separate gliding bases still need a clear floor and create more edges in the room.
No power simplifies placement
There is no wall connection, motor or cable. The chair can sit away from a socket and cannot become unusable because a powered mechanism fails. Mechanical simplicity does not guarantee durability, but it reduces the system count.
The case against it
The 95 kg limit governs the purchase
The figure includes the adult, baby and every accessory on the chair. A 90 kg adult cannot add a 5 kg child and feeding pillow without reaching or exceeding it. Do the combined arithmetic before considering colour or price.
Do not use the ottoman as a seat. Babyhood explicitly warns against sitting on the chair arms or ottoman.
Support is fixed
The Diva has medium lumbar padding and a wide lower back, but no powered or manual lumbar adjustment. The headrest and arm positions are fixed. A chair can score well on paper and still fit one adult poorly, so sit in it before purchase where possible.
Cleaning is surface-level
The covers should not be removed or unzipped. Spills require quick wiping and gentle spot treatment. The charcoal fabric is described as stain resistant, but seams, body oils and milk remain. This is why cleanability scores 6.5.
How it compares
The Roma and Firenza provide powered support and easier positional recovery at much higher prices. A basic timber rocker can cost similarly but often omits swivel, recline and ottoman. Second-hand premium chairs may appear cheaper, though mechanism condition, hygiene and warranty become unknowns.
Verdict
The Diva is the correct Best value winner. At $399 it supplies the functions that make a nursing chair different from an armchair: glide, recline, assisted return, swivel and supported feet. It is compact enough to consider in rooms that reject the electric models.
The 95 kg combined limit prevents a universal recommendation. Check it before anything else, then check body fit and operating space. If all three work, the Diva is unusually complete for the money.
