The case for it
Six kilograms changes the way a stroller can be carried through stations and up stairs. The 20 cm folded depth also leaves useful boot space around it. A one-pull harness and machine-washable covers are sensible daily details rather than travel theatre.
The case against it
Small travel wheels and front-wheel suspension are appropriate for terminals, smooth footpaths and hotel corridors. They are not substitutes for a full-size wheelbase on broken paths. Airline approval is never universal, and a gate agent’s decision can override marketing language.
The accessory list matters too. A bumper bar, travel bag and newborn capsule connection are not in the standard box. Price the travelling system you want before comparing it with a stroller that includes more hardware.
